How We Provide Tuition Assistance

Tuition Assistance is available for a limited number of qualified Williamsburg Montessori families. Aid awards are based on family financial need and funds available from the school. Eligible Families can receive up to 25 percent of their tuition. Confidentiality is maintained throughout the financial aid process.

WMS uses TADS (Tuition Aid Data Services) to process financial aid applications. Like many other independent schools in NYC, WMS has chosen to use third party assistance in the Financial Aid Assessment process for two reasons: TADS provides strong support to families during the financial aid application process and the resulting Financial Aid Applications they send to the school are objective and accurate helping WMS to apply its limited resources fairly.

Applying for Tuition Assistance is a Two Step Process

Print and complete a TADS Financial Aid Worksheet. It is a useful tool to guide you as you gather the necessary financial data.

Complete the TADS Financial Aid Application. Using the data on your worksheet, complete and submit the online application. See link below.

Supporting Documentation Required

The following supporting documentation must be submitted to TADS via mail, fax or by uploading to their website.

Household members’ most recently completed federal tax forms (personal and businesses owned)
W-2 from each job held by household members
Most recent pay stubs form each job held by household members
Documents that establish the amount of miscellaneous monthly or yearly compensation, social security, etc.
All corporate, partnership, and trust forms if a household member owns 20% or more interest in a corporation, partnership, or trust

TADS Application Fee

You will be required to pay a $60.00 TADS Application Fee during your tuition assistance application process. This fee is paid directly to TADS and not to WMS.
